Soil and Water Conservation Leadership Academy - Level Two is an eight-hour training that moves beyond Level One to focus on district branding and outreach, partnership development, and enhanced watershed management planning.
Topics covered will include: Communication in Today’s World, HR Resources, District Outreach, Developing Partnerships, Adaptive Annual Planning, and Watershed Management Planning.
This training will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm CT at the Lake Region State College in Devils Lake, ND, with registration starting at 8:00 am.
Lunch will be provided.
PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED no later than Friday, January 30th and limited to 25 participants.
Who should attend: Newly elected and/or appointed Soil Conservation District Board members, Soil Conservation District staff, NRCS staff, Extension Agents, and others interested in watershed management and conservation.
