Soil and Water Conservation Leadership Academy - Level Three (2026 - Spring)

Soil and Water Conservation Leadership Academy - Level Three is an eight-hour training that goes beyond Levels One and Two and will help build skills and enhance a participant's ability to lead conservation and community-based projects that will protect soil and water quality for future generations.

Date/Time: Thursday, February 26, 2026 from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Topics covered will include: Conservation Advocacy (using social media, outreach, etc.), Conservation Reporting--DART, DEQ, Conservation in Practice, and District Efficiencies.

This training will be held on Thursday, February 26th, 2026, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm CT at the North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, ND, with registration starting at 8:00 am.

Lunch will be provided.

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED no later than Friday, February 13th and is limited to 25 participants.

Who should attend: Soil Conservation District Board members who have attended Level One or Two, Soil Conservation District staff, NRCS staff, County Water Resource Board Members, Extension Agents, and others interested in watershed management and conservation.
