Soil and Water Conservation Leadership Academy - Level Three is an eight-hour training that goes beyond Levels One and Two and will help build skills and enhance a participant's ability to lead conservation and community-based projects that will protect soil and water quality for future generations.
Topics covered will include: Conservation Advocacy (using social media, outreach, etc.), Conservation Reporting--DART, DEQ, Conservation in Practice, and District Efficiencies.
This training will be held on Wednesday, February 19th, 2025, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at the North Dakota Heritage Center in Bismarck, ND, with registration starting at 8:00 am.
Lunch will be provided.
PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED no later than Wednesday, February 5th and is limited to 25 participants.
Who should attend: Soil Conservation District Board members who have attended Level One or Two, Soil Conservation District staff, NRCS staff, County Water Resource Board Members, Extension Agents, and others interested in watershed management and conservation.
