The NDSU Extension 4-H Youth Development program leads 4-H curriculum development and programming facilitation throughout North Dakota, partnering with Extension agents and 4-H Volunteers.
During the course of providing services and curriculum materials, partners often want to provide financial payment/support via credit/debit card. Please use this product page to make an online payment. We will invoice you prior with the amount to pay including supporting documentation.

Farm Safety Camp Sponsorship
NDSU Extension Farm Safety Camp Sponsorship
Agriculture industry partners (farmers/ranchers/manufacturers/dealers/banks and lenders/individuals) are invited to sponsor the NDSU Extension Farm Safety Camp to help us educate our youth in farm safety and develop their skills and knowledge base for work on the farm and future careers. Sponsorships support the procurement of instructional supplies.
Farm Safety Camp is an overnight, hands-on, workforce safety skill development program designed for youth ages 13-16 who plan to work for a farmer/rancher on their own farm or for a nonrelative operator.
Participants learn:
- Safe tractor operation, including a tractor-driving obstacle course
- Livestock handling
- ATV certification through North Dakota Parks and Recreation
- Rules of the road
- Farm machinery operation
- Farm first aid, including official Stop the Bleed certification
- Agricultural youth laws
- Equipment operation and Maintenance
By successfully passing this program, participants will receive official certification to operate tractors over 20 horsepower and some pieces of farm machinery when working for a nonrelative farmer or rancher. This certification is not required for youth to work on their own family farm — however, we highly encourage participation in this program, even if your child will only be working on the family operation. This certification is required by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Hazardous Occupations Order in Agriculture (HOOA) for 14- and 15-year-olds and meets all requirement standards. Participants who are 13 years old and successfully complete the program will receive their certificate on their 14th birthday.

BBQ BOOT CAMP
Join us at the North Dakota 4-H Camp!
Register now for an afternoon of hands-on educational activities and savory BBQ flavors to support our North Dakota 4-H Camp! We will explore degree of doneness, cut selection, flavor science, food safety, and more. Fundraiser ticket includes dinner showcasing beef, pork, and lamb.
