Mineral Nutrition for the Beef Cow Herd
This educational program is designed to provide producers with knowledge of basic livestock mineral nutrition and help evaluate mineral supplementation programs. The program consists of a series of webinars, forage and water sampling and analysis, and individual ranch visits for participants.
The program will begin in June with a webinar series. Webinars will be recorded for later viewing by participants. Feed and water sampling will be conducted over the summer, as will ranch visits. The program will conclude in the fall with additional educational webinars (dates TBD).
The first webinar series has been scheduled for the following dates from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Mountain Time (7:30 to 9 p.m. Central Time):
