FCS Summer Update and Professional Development

This workshop, developed for currently contracted FCS teachers, includes research-based updates in FCS subject areas prepared and taught by NDSU Extension program specialists. Teachers in both CTE-funded and non-funded programs are invited to attend.

This workshop will be held June 23-24, 2026 on the North Dakota State University Campus in the A. Glenn Hill (STEM) building, Room 126, located at 1306 Centennial Blvd, Fargo, ND 58105. (With the exception of the Kitchen Session, in FLC 320). Lunch will be included both days. Registration is limited to 40 participants.

Day 1

  • Policy, Systems & Environmental Changes in Schools & Surroundings - Jan Stankewicz

Day 2

Participants may earn one Professional Development Credit (PDC) or may take the course without earning credit. The cost of the credit will be $50 and will be collected at a later date.

A resource packet of classroom ready materials and other resources will be given to each participant.
