Dakota Alternative Beef Cow Systems Symposium

Farmers and ranchers interested in expanding the cow herd or considering alternative production practices where perennial pastures and rangeland is limited are invited to attend the Dakota Alternative Beef Cow Systems Symposium, a joint meeting between NDSU Extension and SDSU Extension

Topics include up-to-date research and information on:

  • Feeding strategies to replace forage
  • Creep-feeding calves in confinement systems
  • Alternative grazing strategies that increase adaptability
